The Superman W to Y exercise is a bodyweight exercise that targets the back, promoting strength and improving posture. It engages the lower back, shoulders, and glutes as you lift your arms and legs off the ground, moving arms from a W position to a Y.

How to do it

  1. Lie face down on the floor with arms bent in a W position and legs straight.
  2. Engage your core and glutes, lifting your chest and thighs off the ground.
  3. Extend your arms forward into a Y position, keeping them elevated.
  4. Hold briefly, then return arms to the W position and lower.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
