The sumo squat and side knee raise is a dynamic exercise that targets lower body strength while engaging core stability. By incorporating a knee raise, this exercise enhances balance and coordination, promoting inner thigh, glute, and core muscle development.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width, toes slightly outward.
  2. Lower into a squat, keeping your chest up and knees over toes.
  3. As you rise, lift one knee to the side, engaging your core.
  4. Return to the squat position and repeat on the opposite side.
  5. Continue alternating sides for the desired reps.
