Sumo Squat

The sumo squat is a lower body exercise that targets the inner thighs and glutes while also engaging the core for stability. It’s beneficial for improving lower body strength and enhancing hip flexibility.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart and toes slightly turned out.
  2. Keep your chest up and engage your core as you lower your body by bending your knees.
  3. Lower until your thighs are parallel to the floor, keeping knees above toes.
  4. Push through your heels to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
