The Standing Obliques Slides exercise targets the oblique muscles by bending the torso side to side. This movement enhances core strength and improves flexibility in the lateral muscles of the abdomen.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Raise one arm overhead while extending the other down to your side.
  3. Slowly bend your torso laterally towards the lower arm.
  4. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
  5. Maintain a steady pace and controlled movements throughout.
