The Standing Hamstrings and Back Stretch is a flexibility exercise aimed at lengthening and releasing tension in the hamstrings and lower back. It enhances flexibility and can help alleviate tightness in the posterior chain, improving overall mobility and posture.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, keeping knees slightly bent.
- Slowly bend forward at the hips, lowering your torso towards the ground.
- Reach towards your toes while keeping your back straight.
- Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
- Gently rise back to the starting position.
