The Standing Back Rotation Stretch helps in enhancing spinal flexibility and relieving tension in the lower back and obliques. It involves a rotational movement of the upper body to improve mobility and reduce stiffness.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms crossed over the chest.
- Engage the core and maintain a neutral spine.
- Slowly rotate the upper body to one side, keeping the hips steady.
- Hold the stretch for a few seconds, then return to the starting position.
- Repeat on the opposite side.
