Standing Arms Circling
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
Standing arm circles are a dynamic stretching exercise that helps to improve shoulder flexibility and mobility. This exercise targets the shoulder muscles, promoting blood flow and warming up the upper body. It's ideal for pre-workout routines to prepare the muscles for more strenuous activities.
How to do it
- Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms extended straight forward.
- Slowly move your arms in a circular motion, starting small and gradually increasing to larger circles.
- Keep your core engaged and maintain a steady breathing pattern.
- Perform circles in the forward direction for a set duration, then switch to reverse circles.
- Maintain control to ensure full range of motion and avoid any jerking movements.
