The Spine Twist is a core exercise that targets the oblique muscles while improving spinal flexibility and rotational strength. It involves seated trunk rotation, emphasizing control and stability.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with legs extended and back straight, arms crossed over chest.
  2. Engage core and lean back slightly, maintaining a straight spine.
  3. Rotate the torso to one side, keeping hips stable.
  4. Return to center, then rotate to the opposite side.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions, focusing on controlled movement.
