How to do it

  1. Position the barbell on your upper back and stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Keep your knees slightly bent and chest up as you hinge at the hips.
  3. Lower your torso forward until parallel to the floor, keeping your back straight.
  4. Engage your glutes and hamstrings to return to the standing position.
  5. Maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise.
