The sled hack squat is a lower body exercise that targets the quadriceps. It involves pushing a weighted sled with your feet while your back is supported against a pad. This exercise effectively builds strength and muscle mass in the legs, emphasizing thighs and improving core stability.
How to do it
- Position your shoulders under the pads and back against the support.
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the sled platform.
- Unlock the sled safety and lower the sled by bending your knees.
- Descend until your thighs are parallel to the platform.
- Push the sled back up by extending your legs fully.
