Jumping squats are a dynamic exercise that combines a squat with a jump to enhance explosive power. This exercise helps build strength and speed, improving lower body muscle endurance and coordination.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointed slightly out.
- Lower into a squat position, keeping your back straight and chest up.
- Explode upwards into a jump, driving through your heels.
- Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately descend into the next squat.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of reps.
