Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The 45-degree leg press primarily targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings. It is effective for building lower body strength and muscle mass. The exercise provides a controlled movement to focus on isolating the leg muscles and can be adjusted for resistance.
How to do it
- Position yourself on the sled machine with your back flat against the pad.
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the footplate.
- Extend your legs to push the platform upward, ensuring knees are soft, not locked.
- Slowly lower the platform until your knees are approximately at a 90-degree angle.
- Press the platform back to the starting position, focusing on pushing through your heels.
