Skater hops are a dynamic exercise that works the lower body and core muscles. They simulate the motion of a speed skater, providing cardiovascular benefits along with strength and stability to the legs and abdominal region.
How to do it
- Stand on your right foot, slightly bend the knee, and shift your weight onto it.
- Jump to the left, landing on your left foot, while bringing your right foot behind your left leg.
- Bend your left knee slightly while reaching your right hand toward the floor.
- Immediately jump to the right, switching sides, and repeat the motion continuously.
- Maintain a steady pace and focus on balance and control during each hop.
