Side to side hops are a dynamic exercise that targets the lower body, improving agility and coordination. This exercise enhances leg strength and power, while also providing a cardiovascular challenge. It involves jumping laterally from side to side, engaging multiple muscle groups as you maintain balance and rhythm.
How to do it
- Stand with feet hip-width apart and knees slightly bent.
- Engage your core and keep your arms slightly extended for balance.
- Push off with one foot, hopping laterally to the other side.
- Land softly on the opposite foot, then immediately jump back to the starting side.
- Continue hopping side to side in a smooth, controlled motion.
