The Side Step Lateral Raise combines a lateral step with shoulder elevation, effectively working on shoulder strength and coordination. This exercise primarily targets the shoulder muscles and enhances lateral deltoid development.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet together holding dumbbells in each hand.
  2. Step to the side with your right foot, keeping your left foot stationary.
  3. As you step, lift the dumbbells laterally to shoulder height.
  4. Return to starting position, lowering the weights.
  5. Repeat on the opposite side.
