The Scapula Push-Up is a bodyweight exercise focusing on improving scapular stability and mobility by isolating the movement of the shoulder blades. This exercise helps in enhancing shoulder joint health and improving posture.

How to do it

  1. Start in a plank position with hands under shoulders and arms straight.
  2. Keep the body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Retract the shoulder blades by pinching them together.
  4. Protract the shoulder blades by pushing through the palms and rounding the upper back.
  5. Repeat the retraction and protraction while maintaining a stable plank position.
