Reverse Warrior Pose, or Viparita Virabhadrasana, is a yoga pose that enhances balance and flexibility. It primarily strengthens the legs and stretches the torso and obliques. This pose improves flexibility of the spine and enhances breathing by expanding the chest.

How to do it

  1. Begin in a Warrior II pose with your legs apart, one foot pointing forward.
  2. Keep your back leg straight and bend the front knee over the ankle.
  3. Raise your front arm towards the sky and tilt your upper body backward.
  4. Slide your back hand down the back leg, looking up at the raised hand.
  5. Hold the pose for several breaths, maintaining balance and alignment.
