The PVC external rotation exercise targets the rotator cuff, improving shoulder stability and flexibility. It involves rotating the shoulder while holding a PVC pipe, promoting mobility and rotational capacity in the joint.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a PVC pipe with both hands.
- Position the pipe vertically, elbow bent at 90 degrees and arm parallel to the ground.
- Rotate the forearm outward while keeping the elbow in place.
- Slowly return to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
