Pull-ups are a bodyweight exercise that primarily target the upper back and arms, improving strength and muscle tone. They are performed by pulling oneself up using a bar, engaging multiple muscles in the upper body for a complete workout.
How to do it
- Grip the pull-up bar with palms facing away, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Start from a dead hang with arms fully extended.
- Pull your body upwards until your chin is above the bar.
- Lower yourself back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for desired number of repetitions.
