Pull-ups are a bodyweight exercise that primarily target the upper back and arms, improving strength and muscle tone. They are performed by pulling oneself up using a bar, engaging multiple muscles in the upper body for a complete workout.

How to do it

  1. Grip the pull-up bar with palms facing away, hands shoulder-width apart.
  2. Start from a dead hang with arms fully extended.
  3. Pull your body upwards until your chin is above the bar.
  4. Lower yourself back to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for desired number of repetitions.
