The Press Under is a compound movement that enhances shoulder stability and strength while engaging the lower body. It combines an overhead press with a squat motion, promoting coordination, flexibility, and power throughout the body.
How to do it
- Start standing with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell at shoulder height.
- Dip into a partial squat as you press the barbell overhead.
- Lower your body under the bar, moving into a full squat while keeping arms extended.
- Drive through your heels to stand up, maintaining the barbell overhead.
- Lower the barbell back to shoulder height to repeat.
