The Plyo Squat is a dynamic exercise that combines a traditional squat with a jump, helping to enhance lower body strength and explosive power. This movement targets the quadriceps and glutes, and is often used to improve athletic performance.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart and toes slightly pointed out.
  2. Lower into a squat by bending at the hips and knees, keeping your chest up.
  3. Explode upwards into a jump, extending through your hips, knees, and ankles.
  4. Land softly back into the squat position, controlling the descent.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
