The Plyo Squat is a dynamic exercise that combines a traditional squat with a jump, helping to enhance lower body strength and explosive power. This movement targets the quadriceps and glutes, and is often used to improve athletic performance.
How to do it
- Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart and toes slightly pointed out.
- Lower into a squat by bending at the hips and knees, keeping your chest up.
- Explode upwards into a jump, extending through your hips, knees, and ankles.
- Land softly back into the squat position, controlling the descent.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
