The overhead triceps extension using a resistance band is an exercise focused on isolating the triceps. It helps in building strength and muscle mass in the upper arms, particularly the triceps. The exercise is beneficial for enhancing arm definition and improving overall upper body strength.

How to do it

  1. Attach a resistance band to a high anchor point.
  2. Stand facing the anchor with feet shoulder-width apart and grasp the band with both hands.
  3. Extend your arms over your head, with elbows close to your ears, and then lower your forearms behind your head.
  4. Press the band upward by extending your elbows until your arms are straight.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
