Mountain hops are a dynamic exercise that combines elements of mountain climbers with a small hop. This movement primarily builds cardiovascular endurance while engaging the core and lower body muscles for stabilization and strength.
How to do it
- Start in a plank position with arms extended directly under shoulders.
- Engage the core and tighten glutes while keeping the body straight.
- Jump both feet forward, bending knees toward the chest, then quickly return to start.
