The lying straight leg march is an exercise that primarily targets the core, focusing on strengthening the lower abdominal muscles while improving hip flexibility and stability.
How to do it
- Start by lying flat on your back with your legs extended and arms by your sides.
- Engage your core and lift one leg straight up towards the ceiling while keeping the other leg in contact with the ground.
- Lower the raised leg back to the ground and repeat with the opposite leg.
- Continue alternating legs, maintaining a steady tempo and controlled motion throughout.
