The lying straight leg march is an exercise that primarily targets the core, focusing on strengthening the lower abdominal muscles while improving hip flexibility and stability.

How to do it

  1. Start by lying flat on your back with your legs extended and arms by your sides.
  2. Engage your core and lift one leg straight up towards the ceiling while keeping the other leg in contact with the ground.
  3. Lower the raised leg back to the ground and repeat with the opposite leg.
  4. Continue alternating legs, maintaining a steady tempo and controlled motion throughout.
