Lying Leg Lift
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
Lying leg lifts are a core exercise that focuses on strengthening the rectus abdominis and improving stability. They are performed while lying on your back, lifting the legs together to a vertical position. This movement challenges the abdominal muscles and hip flexors, contributing to better core strength and flexibility.
How to do it
- Lie flat on your back with your legs straight and arms by your sides.
- Keep your legs together and lift them towards the ceiling to form a 90-degree angle with your body.
- Slowly lower your legs back down without touching the floor, maintaining tension in your core.
- Repeat the motion for the desired number of repetitions.
- Ensure your lower back remains pressed against the floor throughout the exercise.
