The lying lat pulldown is an exercise performed while lying face down, mimicking a lat pull-down motion without requiring a machine. This exercise targets the back muscles to enhance stability and strength, beneficial for overall upper body conditioning.

How to do it

  1. Lie face down on the floor with arms fully extended above your head.
  2. Simultaneously lift your chest and arms off the ground, engaging your back muscles.
  3. Pull your elbows down towards your sides while squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  4. Slowly return to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions.
