This core exercise targets the abdominal muscles by performing a twisting motion while lying on the floor. It effectively engages the obliques and rectus abdominis, providing a good workout for the entire abdominal region.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent. Place your hands behind your head.
- Cross your right leg over your left knee.
- Lift your upper body, bringing your left elbow towards your right knee.
- Lower back down and repeat for desired reps.
- Switch sides and repeat.
