The Cable Seated Twist on the Floor is an effective exercise for targeting the obliques through rotational movement. Sitting on the floor with legs spread, you pull the cable across your body, which engages core stability and improves rotational strength.
How to do it
- Sit on the floor facing a cable machine with legs spread wide.
- Hold the cable handle with both hands, arms extended forward.
- Engage your core and twist your torso to one side, pulling the cable across your body.
- Return to the starting position with control.
- Repeat on the other side for desired repetitions.
