The lunge with leg lift is a dynamic exercise combining a forward lunge and a high rear leg lift. It enhances lower body strength and balance, targeting the quadriceps and glutes while engaging the core.

How to do it

  1. Start standing with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Step forward with your right foot into a lunge position, lowering your body until both knees are bent at 90 degrees.
  3. Push off your right foot to stand and simultaneously lift your left leg straight back.
  4. Return to the starting position and switch legs.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
