The lunge with leg lift is a dynamic exercise combining a forward lunge and a high rear leg lift. It enhances lower body strength and balance, targeting the quadriceps and glutes while engaging the core.
How to do it
- Start standing with feet hip-width apart.
- Step forward with your right foot into a lunge position, lowering your body until both knees are bent at 90 degrees.
- Push off your right foot to stand and simultaneously lift your left leg straight back.
- Return to the starting position and switch legs.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
