The Lever Seated Leg Curl is an isolation exercise targeting the hamstrings. It is performed on a leg curl machine where the user curls their legs backward against resistance to strengthen the muscles on the back of the thighs.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the leg curl machine and adjust the pad to sit comfortably on your lower legs.
  2. Grip the handles firmly for stability and ensure your back is against the backrest.
  3. Exhale and curl your legs back as far as possible, contracting the hamstrings.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement.
  5. Inhale as you slowly return to the starting position, keeping control throughout.
