The Lever Preacher Curl targets the biceps by isolating the movement to flexion of the elbow, using a preacher bench to stabilize the arms and eliminate swinging.
How to do it
- Adjust the seat of the preacher curl machine so your arms rest comfortably on the pad.
- Grip the lever with an underhand grip, keeping your elbows at a fixed position on the pad.
- Curl the lever upwards by contracting your biceps until your forearms are vertical.
- Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the lever back to the starting position.
- Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining control throughout.
