Bicep curls are a fundamental strength exercise focusing on building the biceps. This exercise involves lifting weights in a controlled manner to target and strengthen the Biceps Brachii, improving arm size and strength.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at your sides.
- Keep elbows close to your torso and palms facing forward.
- Curl the weights up by flexing the elbows, keeping the upper arms stationary.
- Lift the weights until your biceps are fully contracted and the dumbbells are at shoulder level.
- Slowly lower the weights back to the starting position.
