Equipment
The Dumbbell Standing Drag Curl targets the biceps while engaging the shoulders. Unlike traditional curls, this movement keeps the elbows back and involves dragging the dumbbells up along the torso, promoting peak contraction in the biceps.
How to do it
- Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Keep elbows close to your sides and palms facing forward.
- Lift the dumbbells by dragging them up along your torso, keeping elbows back.
- Squeeze the biceps at the top, then slowly lower the dumbbells.
- Repeat for desired reps, maintaining control throughout.
