The kneeling back rotation exercise improves thoracic mobility and enhances core stability. It engages the back and oblique muscles, ensuring better posture and spinal flexibility. This exercise is great for warming up the upper body and increasing rotational range of motion.

How to do it

  1. Start on all fours with knees under hips and hands under shoulders.
  2. Place one hand behind your head with the elbow flared to the side.
  3. Rotate your torso to bring the elbow toward the opposite arm.
  4. Rotate back up, opening the chest to the side.
  5. Repeat for desired reps, then switch sides.
