The knee hug glute stretch primarily targets the gluteal muscles and is beneficial for improving flexibility in the hip region. It helps in alleviating muscle tension and enhancing range of motion.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended.
  2. Bend one knee and pull it towards your chest.
  3. Wrap your arms around your knee or shin, hugging it closely.
  4. Hold the position while keeping your back straight.
  5. Switch legs and repeat on the other side.
