The exercise is a chest-focused movement that involves lying on a bench and pressing weights upward using kettlebells. It primarily builds upper body strength, particularly targeting the pectoral muscles while also engaging the triceps and shoulders.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on a bench, holding a kettlebell in each hand with arms extended above your chest.
  2. Position your feet flat on the ground for stability.
  3. Slowly lower the kettlebells to chest level by bending your elbows.
  4. Pause briefly at the bottom, then press the kettlebells back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control throughout.
