The kettlebell lying triceps extension, also known as skull crusher, primarily targets the triceps brachii. This exercise is performed lying on a bench and involves extending the elbows to lift the kettlebell overhead. It helps in building tricep strength and enhancing the stability of the elbows.
How to do it
- Lie flat on a bench, holding a kettlebell with both hands above your chest.
- Keep your upper arms stationary and slowly bend your elbows to lower the kettlebell towards your forehead.
- Extend your elbows and return to the starting position, keeping the movement controlled.
