The kettlebell clean and press is a full-body exercise that enhances strength and power. It involves lifting the kettlebell from the ground to the shoulder and then pressing it overhead. This movement improves coordination, boosts cardiovascular fitness, and strengthens both the upper and lower body.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, kettlebell between feet.
- Bend knees and hinge hips to grasp kettlebell with both hands.
- Explosively extend hips and pull kettlebell up to shoulder height.
- Rotate wrists and elbows to catch kettlebell at shoulders.
- Press kettlebell overhead by straightening arms.
