The exercise involves stepping onto a bench with one leg while driving the opposite knee upwards. This enhances cardiovascular fitness and strengthens the lower body, particularly targeting explosiveness and power.
How to do it
- Start standing in front of a bench.
- Place one foot on the bench, ensuring a firm footing.
- Drive through the heel of the foot on the bench, lifting your body up.
- Simultaneously bring the opposite knee up towards your chest.
- Step back down to the starting position and repeat.
