The exercise involves stepping onto a bench with one leg while driving the opposite knee upwards. This enhances cardiovascular fitness and strengthens the lower body, particularly targeting explosiveness and power.

How to do it

  1. Start standing in front of a bench.
  2. Place one foot on the bench, ensuring a firm footing.
  3. Drive through the heel of the foot on the bench, lifting your body up.
  4. Simultaneously bring the opposite knee up towards your chest.
  5. Step back down to the starting position and repeat.
