The Jackknife exercise is a core-focused movement that elevates the legs to engage the abdominal muscles intensely. It helps in improving core strength and stability, enhancing control and posture.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on your back with arms at your sides.
  2. Lift both legs towards the ceiling, keeping them straight.
  3. Exhale and lift your hips off the ground, reaching feet upwards.
  4. Hold briefly then lower hips back to the mat.
  5. Repeat while keeping your core engaged throughout.
