The Jackknife exercise is a core-focused movement that elevates the legs to engage the abdominal muscles intensely. It helps in improving core strength and stability, enhancing control and posture.
How to do it
- Lie flat on your back with arms at your sides.
- Lift both legs towards the ceiling, keeping them straight.
- Exhale and lift your hips off the ground, reaching feet upwards.
- Hold briefly then lower hips back to the mat.
- Repeat while keeping your core engaged throughout.
