The hollow rock is a core-strengthening exercise that emphasizes stability and endurance. It involves maintaining a curved, hollow position while rocking back and forth. This exercise is excellent for building a strong core and improving body control.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with arms extended overhead and legs straight.
  2. Engage your core to lift your arms, head, and legs slightly off the ground.
  3. Keep your lower back pressed into the floor, creating a hollow curve in your midsection.
  4. Begin to rock gently back and forth, maintaining the hollow position.
  5. Continue for a set period or number of repetitions, focusing on controlled movements.
