The Jackknife Floor exercise targets the core muscles, focusing on strengthening the rectus abdominis and obliques. By engaging these muscles, it enhances core stability and abdominal endurance. How to do it

  1. Start seated on the floor with your legs extended and hands placed behind for support.
  2. Simultaneously lift your legs and torso towards each other, bending at the hips.
  3. Engage your core, focusing on drawing your navel towards your spine.
  4. Hold the contracted position for a moment, then slowly return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining controlled movements.
