Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The High Dumbbell Fly is an exercise that targets the upper portion of the chest muscles. It is performed on an incline bench, allowing for greater emphasis on the upper chest compared to traditional flat bench fly variations. This exercise helps improve upper chest size and definition.
How to do it
- Set an incline bench at a 45-degree angle.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand, lying back on the bench with palms facing each other.
- Keep a slight bend in the elbows and lower the dumbbells out to the sides until you feel a stretch in the chest.
- Squeeze the chest muscles to bring the dumbbells back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions while maintaining control.
