The Half Frog Stretch is a flexibility exercise that targets the hip flexors, glutes, and lower back. It helps in increasing mobility in the hips and easing tension in the lower back, beneficial for improving posture and reducing discomfort in these areas.
How to do it
- Start by lying on your stomach with your legs extended behind you.
- Bend one knee and bring it out to the side at a 90-degree angle.
- Plant your hands firmly on the ground in front of you for support.
- Gently push your hips towards the floor, keeping your back relaxed.
- Hold the stretch, breathing deeply, then switch to the other side.
