The forward pulse lunge with hands overhead is a dynamic exercise that enhances lower body strength and stability while engaging the core and upper body. By maintaining an overhead position, it also challenges shoulder flexibility and core stabilization.

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms extended overhead.
  2. Step forward with one leg, bending both knees into a lunge position.
  3. Pulse in the lunge by slightly raising and lowering the hips without moving feet.
  4. Maintain core engagement and arms straight overhead throughout.
  5. Push through the front heel to return to the starting position.
