The Dumbbell Standing Single Leg Calf Raise targets the calf muscles while enhancing balance and stability. Performing this exercise helps build lower leg strength and improve muscular endurance in the calves.
How to do it
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand, standing upright with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Lift one foot off the ground, balancing on the other leg.
- Slowly raise your heel, coming onto the ball of your foot.
- Pause briefly at the top, then lower your heel back down.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
