The Dumbbell Single Leg Step-Up is a strength exercise targeting the lower body. It involves stepping onto a platform with one leg while holding dumbbells, promoting balance, coordination, and muscular endurance primarily in the quadriceps and gluteus maximus.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing a step with dumbbells in each hand.
  2. Place your right foot on the step and push through your heel to lift your body up.
  3. Bring your left knee up to hip level for balance.
  4. Lower yourself back down with control and repeat on the other side.
