The Dumbbell Single-Arm Alternate Decline Bench Press targets the chest muscles, focusing on the lower region by performing the exercise on a decline bench. Alternating arms helps improve unilateral strength and balance, effectively engaging stabilizing muscles.

How to do it

  1. Lie on a decline bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms extended above your chest.
  2. Lower one arm slowly to the side of your chest, keeping the other arm extended.
  3. Press the lowered dumbbell back to the starting position as you lower the opposite arm.
  4. Alternate arms, maintaining control and stability throughout the exercise.
