The Dumbbell Seated Bench Extension is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. Performed while seated, it focuses on extending the elbows against the resistance of a dumbbell to build strength and definition in the triceps.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a bench with your feet flat on the floor and hold a dumbbell with both hands above your head.
  2. Keep your elbows close to your ears and your core engaged.
  3. Slowly lower the dumbbell behind your head by bending your elbows.
  4. Extend your arms back to the starting position, fully straightening your elbows.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions while maintaining control.
