The dumbbell one-arm triceps extension on a bench is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. It improves upper arm strength and helps develop muscle mass in the triceps. This exercise also contributes to overall arm stability and strength.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a bench, holding a dumbbell in one hand with arm extended above your head.
  2. Keep your elbow close to your head and your palm facing inward.
  3. Slowly lower the dumbbell behind your head by bending your elbow.
  4. Extend your arm back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps and switch arms.
